		History and Mission
			SCS is dedicated to providing insurance plans that are harmonious with Christian Science care and treatment. Over 30 years ago, a group of dedicated Christian Scientists met in Boston to develop a special insurance plan to meet the care needs of Christian Scientists. The pillars of the plan were to be integrity - stability - value, while keeping in mind the philosophic concepts of Christian Science care and teachings. In 1975 the FIRST CHRISTIAN SCIENCE GROUP CARE INSURANCE PLAN BECAME A REALITY. We joyfully celebrate these past years with thanks to our loyal supporters all over the country. Many have expressed their thanks in return for the benefits received by their wisdom in purchasing a program of coverage. We now look forward to the years ahead, and continuing our work.
